Recon the skin on our faces would stretch back like those guys testing rocket sleds when we were kids?

I think that would be a little too much like a race in powered scooters at Wal-Mart:eek: You may be showing your age:rolleyes:

Ducky, we would just get Tim the Tool Man Taylor to "re-wire" our trolling motors and away we go! Batten down the hatches!

Mine would have twin 80 pound thrust, 24 volt Minn Kota's on the back. Problem is, where would I put 4 (45 pound) batteries?

I can just see me skimming across the lake, wearing a life jacket and helmet of course.

All kidding aside, Paula and I like to fish at Fall Creek Falls Lake, a 300 acre "electric motor only" lake.

Some of the guys there actually do have two trolling motors on their rental jon boats. They move pretty darned fast.

Ducky,

I bet you could retrofit a jet ski motor onto one you your kayaks and give me and Thunderhead a pretty good run for the finish line.
