If it's of legal size, throw it up on the bank and have it for supper.
You're forgetting the most important naturalist ever, BRF. Three words: Bob Friggin' Ross. Your influences are solid, but let's face it, none of them dominated public television. Now, go "beat the...
Thanks, man. Your check's in the mail.
Nah, BRF, I wasn't an English major. But I did minor in creative writing. My degree ain't worth spit. Bah.
I second Mr. Casada's suggestion of Ron Rash, and I'll throw in Jeff Daniel Marion, a great influences during my poetry/creative writing days in college. He's a superb poet and a darn good fly...
Lake trout and brookies are the best eating around!
I can't remember when I started chasing money, probably shortly after I began chasing my third wife.
Once we start believing that one group, because of status or profession, has a special privileged, then we've lost any reason to fight for the whole.
One person caused you concern? One person....
Found you a wampus cat. If you were outside Newport I'd ask, was it the black one, or yellow one?
My dad's stories and his pictures are all I have of the Little T. But **** ... some nice pictures and stories. Sure is a shame.
Nice. Stand-up for sure, wolfster.
Wow, thanks for the reply! I have a lot to learn about cameras, but would like to have one that takes those kinds of pictures. Maybe one day!
ChemEAngler, nice photo. What kind of camera do you use? I never can take pictures with that kind of clarity.
You have to read Gierach, no question. My favorite fly fisherman, Taylor Streit, has a GREAT book -- Instinctive Fly Fishing. No pictures, but a wonderful, if not insightful, read.
Thanks, Charlie and Dwayne ... I figured I'd chime it, it's been a while! Got a Fuji for my birthday earlier this month, doing my best not to drown it!
First time in many months I've taken a camera.

Not a lot of info, only the age old "we're going to be...
Interesting article, but I found this more relevant:
'Plot to use fish as murder weapon' foiled

Dwayne, crappie are pretty good ... but the best tasting fish, hands down, is a lake trout. Mmmmm, mmmm!
Always unnerving, Plateau. I had a similar incident at #23 last Summer. Two nights in a row a large yearling decided to snort around my tent, and on the second night he plopped down next to it,...
Oh, and I knew that. I am a lost cause when it comes to irony.
And although I don't go to Tellico, I'm not sure how I feel about the closure. Delicate balances aren't my strong point.
But I live in Pittman Center ... Tellico is too far!
Heh, thanks!
