    Default Looking ahead

August is proving to be very hot (in case you didn't notice). For me September is a full calendar. October is a time that I want to inquire about the fishing in the park, particularly the Middle Prong. I'm thinking that the weather should be cooler and the fishing should be good. Spawning time? Flies? Any help is appreciated.

    Knothead,

October is the time to be on the stream. yes leaves are a nuisance but not that bad until late in the month. October Caddis, I.e. Orange Stim will work. Any regular nymph you would use any other time of year will work. Good luck and don't forget to give me a shout when you come this way.

Hans, I will probably be up in the middle of the week; joys of retirement. Maybe we can get together and wet a line on a weekend. Look forward to it.
