    Thumbs up Fly tying weekend

Anybody going to the fly tying weekend in Townsend? I hope we get some decent fishing weather in the bargain, but I am ready to see these guys make some fake bait. Good job Byron

    Rob,
I will be there and tying some of my favorite flies Saturday Morning! Please stop by and say hello if you get a chance.

It will be a great opportunity to meet fellow LRO Forum Members and fellowship among passionate fly fisher(men/women).

    Default Schedule?

Has anyone done up a schedule on who's tying when? I can't make it both days and there are a few folks I would like to be sure and catch while they're there if at all possible. Thanks.
Fly fishing - it's cheaper than a bass boat!

I am pretty sure Byron has a schedule made up so that he can balance the activities. It may be on the front web page of LRO....

My wife and I are planning on spending the weekend in Townsend. Hope to see several of my old friends from the fly tying/fly fishing community. I don't know when I will be tying yet, but stop by and say hello. Tell me if you want to see anything in particular. I also love to help kids tie their first fly

I am getting excited. The weather looks good for the event right now. I'm glad it is not being held this weekend. Paula said we may get 18" of snow in the high elevations.

I posted the schedule on the home page of the Fly Tyers Weekend mini website. You can see it here at the bottom of the page.

Hope everyone can make it. If this is well attended, we'll do more events with Tremont Lodge and Resort. I was up at the lodge with Lindsay Long from Casting for Recovery. They will be selling food and drinks in the event center to raise funds for CFR.

Scott Sanchez will be tying and selling/signing his books all day Saturday and Sunday morning. You will like Scott. He's a talented guy.

We have exactly 40 fly tyers lined up. At times there will be over 20 tying at once. This is going to be awesome!
