Some good looking mountain brown trout swimming around this thread...

Not from this year but still a favorite and the reason why I head to the mountains...

    Love them rainbows!

This is the bear that came and scared off the big one that was aiming for.

    Awesome!

While I can't compete on the quality many of you get with big boy rigs, here are some from me.

While this one doesn't contain a trout, it was quite memorable. UT was promoting safe sex week, or something to that effect

This one also doesn't contain a fish, but I'm getting closer to task. Call it escaping one's hectic life, therapy time, fellowship, or just having fun! I'm happy to be able to fish with so many of you out there

Not the best shot, but the only Purdy one I could find in a hurry. At least this one follows the rules. You know where my love is at

And while this next one isn't the prettiest shot, it was pretty memorable getting to release several hundred fish into Lynn Camp all by myself. Our future fishing adventures await!

And a cool shot at release

Only made it down one time last year. Here's a couple of the locals I ran into.

Can't wait for spring, until then all I can do is tie flies and drill holes in Lake Erie!

Lots of fantastic pictures here. I'm sure there are a lot more people out there with some good trout stories from 2014 and hopefully got some good pictures. Let's hear and see some more. Here's another couple of pictures to keep things going!

This brown trout was not large, but it was one of the prettiest I saw all year.

This fish was not large either, only about 10 inches long or so, but it had a huge meal still sticking out of its throat and still wanted the nymph I was throwing.

"Then He said to them, 'Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.'" Matthew 4:19
