GREAT looking boat Bran, Looks like you have the same TFO multi-piece pushpole that I have. Excited to see what else you do to it.

Really nice looking outfit.. I like the idea of putting the drag. chain inside tire innertube. One thing I did to further prevent the chain from snagging was to attach a funnel at the head of the chain to deflect it from obstacles.

Yeah, I like that idea too. I'm going to try that, I've been dragging a chain for years when floating but never thought about the tube. I took it out yesterday to try the mods, also added a camo swivel seat yesterday. I was really pleased with it, I changed the trim stop position a little just playing around for performance. Found a few minutes at dark to wet a line and catch a few Bream on the 5 wt.

Dan, that pole is a Strongarm, same as the tiller extension and the poling platform but they probably just re-labeled someone else's pole. Somebody told me that Strongarm was kind of in a decline b/c the owner had health problems? Not sure. Anyway, I think I'm going to order the trolling motor mount like yours, I could use one in a lot of places I fish. I started/ stopped the OB 30 times yesterday just adjusting for casting distance.

    Default gheenoe

bran-I have owned 3 gheenoes--I presently have a 16 ft super---I think you will really like yours--is it a 15-2---I had one similar to yours--they are easy to load and unload--they trailer great--and are very stable in the water--yours look like new--used gheenoes are next to impossible to find--especially good ones--consider yourself lucky---have you taken it out yet?...........Riverhawk is a boat similar to a gheenoe--they are made in Georgia and look to be good ones.

Thank you very much! Yes sir, I have taken it out a couple of times but I'm still waiting on title paperwork from the state. They only allow you a couple weeks to use it with a BOS then I'm illegal until I get the number assignment and title. Trouble now is with budget cuts they're taking 4-6 weeks to process!! I'll be using it more this Fall as the Smallies turn on in my local river hopefully so I should have everything straight by then.
It was just like new, I've put 2-3 scratches on the bow in my 2 trips already! Almost hated to see that but oh well, I'm going to fish in rocks and such and that gel coat is pretty soft.
