Default Little River- Southern Kayak Fishing magazine article

Good morning to all- Captain Josh Pfeiffer has a fine article in the July Issue of Southern Kayak Fishing online magazine about float fishing the Lower Little River for smallmouth. We'd like to invite everyone to go to our website www.sokayakfishing.com and see his work.
We'd like you all to sign up to receive the magazine- we're going to bi-monthly format now- and since it's free, the price is right.
WE appreciate reader comments and ideas for future articles.
    thanks very much- Ed Mashburn

Nice! Did not know that Josh got his Captain license or that he is a kayak fisherman. It is getting to be a popular thing now. Found the article under sokayakfishing.com

    Gary,
I didn't, but Ed always answers the phone as such. I do like to fish from a kayak and canoe every now and then but usually in the bigger boats. Thanks Ed for the article and hopefully we can fish together one of these days and just to clarify, I'm not a captain.

O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done,
The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought (Trout and Smallmouth) is won,
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
    While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring;
    But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Where on the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead. (well maybe after you get home and fall on the couch after a hard days work)

Maybe not technically since he didn't want to steal Rocky's mojo, but I think Josh qualifies in other regards

Just giving you a hard time Josh. You know I spent many years at sea in the US Navy and never made it to the rank of Captain.
I know a guy who spent a summer in Alaska working as a fishing guide for a lodge. He was a college student in between years. He took the online USCG captain licensure test, payed the fee and now calls himself "Captain ____ ______" . I guess that the USCG is a lot different from the Navy!

    Ed,

I read your magazine and enjoy each issue very much. I have also sent links to some of my friends who enjoy it as well. I thought Josh made some excellent points in your article about Little River. I learn from Josh every time I fish with him. He is a great guide and a good friend.

    Good work Ed!

    Ed,

The link in your post to your magazine seems to be broken. It does not work for me. I did an internet search for Southern Kayak Fishing Magazine and got it.
