Default High water stripe and bass

The river here in chatt. has been running from 70k to 80kcfs for about two months.
I found a couple of eddys that I could get to and fish in.Lots of fish stacked up in the slack water. Shad are in one spot so thick that it's hard not to foul hook them. Been
catching stripe and a few bass.Got one nice bass ,20in. In the mix.

Very nice we have been trying to target the white bass in Alabama as well. We're finding nice crappie in the same areas

Nice! I am looking forward to getting back out on the rivers again for some white bass and shad fishing on the shoals. It is a lot of fun.

Let's go! Been catching them left and right, they are even busting Shad on top with 46 degree water. Got some good videos but don't know if I'm capable of posting a video.

This pic was Monday night, they were jumping everywhere. Not tons on the shoals yet but some are roaming everywhere. If you look close on the pic you can see where they were jumping

Now your killing me! I have been repainting my boat hull over the past couple of weeks and have just one more coat to finish up this weekend before I put the reg. numbers back on. I hope to be back on the river by next weekend. I have a ton of flies tied up and ready for this season, just need to go! I need to get your number in my phone so we can meet up sometime on the river. Josh and I text each other all the time about river conditions and whats going on.
