Default Big Laurel & Spring Creek NC/TN?

I realize this may not be the ideal section to post this question, but since I'll be right on the state line (on the TN side) I figured it may be better suited for here.

Has anyone had any experience fishhing the delyed harvest sections of Big Laurel Creek or Spring Creek near Hot Springs, NC?

Trying to determine if they are worth hitting on an upcoming trip to Del Rio, TN around the first of April.

Other trout streams that are a little farther out that I know of would be Paint Creek and Cosby Creek.

If anyone know of any other decent water to fish in the area, I'd much appreciate any input.

    Thank you.

Big Laurel is a decent Bass fishery. Both streams you mention are beautiful and fun to paddle. Spring Creek seemed to be mostly private land, while Big Laurel has a green way or such. Go to Big Laurel Store, grab a coffee and ask Matt or Jemima Cook (Owners) for whatever local knowledge you need

A great day to me would be to some fishing in, soak in the Hot tub for an hour, Dinner at Sopring Creek Tavern & Inn, and sunset at Max Patch to cap it off

When they are freshly stocked they ate fun. It seems despite being delayed harvest the fish "disappear" quickly...
