I thought you had a truck load of fiberglass rods.

One of the best things about buying an Orvis Rod through LRO is that if you have any trouble or breaks-LRO and Orvis will go out of their way to help you get back on the water ASAP. Faster than any other rod company I have dealt with before and this a huge factor to me.

    • Most of the Orvis repair turnarounds I have experienced and heard of involve about a week (Sometimes free + $15 to ship)..
    • TFO is good for about a 10-14 day turnaround (~$45 + $15 to ship).
    • The rest can take 30 to 45 days on average (~$75-150 + $15 to ship).

    Something to think about.

I just wish I had not experienced all this repair stuff.

In most cases I would think a 4wt dt. Some of the new wf lines are half a size large and these rods are already slow.

We had a 4wt Orvis Superfine line on the Superfine Glass at the Shop. It is a presentation type taper line. A RIO Trout LT would work well too.
