My sister in N.C. hiked Kephart a month or two ago and made a mental note to come back and take pics of the Rhododendron in bloom. Does anyone know the status of the blooms in that area now? Thanks.

I was very close to there Saturday and fished the Oco a little bit lower, but I don't remember the blooms being out just yet. Laurel blooms are out, but still a bit early for the rhododendron.

Thanks Jay. I told her I thought it was still early yet. She lives in Sylva and she said her rhododendron blooms are already fallen. Came early there. I will pass your info to her.
