    Default Miller Wooly

A few weeks ago a guy floated thru , even older than me. He said he'd lost a 20# brown that day, # not ". I asked him what he was using and he said "miller wooly." I'm not familiar with that fly, even whether it is a fly. Left me curious so I'm asking y'all, anyone know what it is?

No photo, but maybe enough information to tie one.http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/s....php?399-Wooly

Flyman, thanks. I'm betting this is what he meant. Said he had been fishing the river for 41 years and had previously landed a 17#, so he knew how to judge 20#

I knew Charley Miller years ago but never heard about this fly
