    Go to the stream that has water. LOL. Seriously, water is terribly low.

    No kidding. Just got back from WNC and it is no different than here in TN. Water temps were good, but very low.

    We are booked for Forney 3rd week of Oct. Hope some rain comes soon but it will still be better than working!

    Hazel and Eagle are very low as is all creeks in the park. Higher elevation fish are easier to catch in all water conditions. My houseboat is located minutes from Eagle and Hazel Creek and might be available for rent if you are interested. I do NOT offer guided trips in the park but will provide 1st class meals and housing plus transportation to the park side aboard my houseboat. There is also rentals available at Fontana Village Resort if you prefer this end of the lake. Regardless of where you stay enjoy your time in this special place we call home.

    Thanks for the offer jwj1951. We have been to Hazel several times in the past and will go again. Just wanted to see something new.
