    Default Metcalf Bottom-Yesterday-April 23, 2017

Heading home yesterday from the TU Southeast Regional Meeting in Gatlinburg going down Little River Rd. the water was ripping to say the least. Trees occasionally from either the wind or water saturated ground had fallen into the river as we made our way downhill. Byron's report today has flow at 2,000 plus so not sure what flow level was at around 3 PM Sunday. Here are a few pics from Metcalf Bottoms.

We did best with a green weenie on a #1 Circle hook, a little split shot, and a 30 pound anvil.
Actually we did scientific observation( cigars and adult beverage)

It looks better than it being to low to keep fish alive in it.

But it looks like its White Water Rafting time for now.
To Fish or not to Fish? That's a stupid question.
