    Default Trip Report (w/pics) 6-12

Hello. Long time lurker, first time poster.
Im in Nashville and make it to the park as much as possible. Cant get enough of exploring our great park and its waters.
Had my best trip yet this past weekend.
Most, if not all, have heard of the stream. Many may recognize it.
Tied a Sz16 Smoky Mountain Candy on my Orvis Superfine Carbon 8ft 4wt and went to town.

Third cast of the day and I land my largest park fish to date- ~16 inches

It was going to be a good day.
Had a few browns. All about 6-8in:

Another few bows and I ended up in a pool that produced 4, one being this at about 14in:

From there, I had my mind set on that Grand Slam (which I had yet to manage).
Just as I was ready to call it a day, this little hook jawed spec couldn't resist:

Total on the day was 10 bows, 3 browns, and that Spec. All on that one fly.
    I missed just as many.

Amazing day in my favorite place. Love these mountains and am grateful we all have them to enjoy.

    Tight lines everyone.

Great job on the slam! Great first post. 2 monster bows in 1 day, and a slam to boot, that's a good day
    Thanks for posting

Man... That's a great job, with nice, wet fish pics! Look forward to seeing more in the future.
