    Default New from Chattanooga

    Hey everyone,

This is my first time posting anything on a forum. I usually communicate with other fly fisherman at local fly shops or via social media(Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, etc). I have been fly fishing coming up on three years this Christmas. I was given a cheap rod and reel for Christmas and boy has the obsession experienced some exponential growth. I grew up in Winchester so my fly fishing started on the Elk River(my moms house is 3 miles down the street from the dam). Went to Tennessee Tech and fished the Caney through college and now I'm in Chattanooga and I have new rivers to explore. This forum has been great to keep up with whats happening locally and I see plenty of my questions getting answered when I read through most of these posts. If you are ever on the river and see a hispanic guy with an orange TNFlyco hat on... That's most likely me. Here are some pictures I've either taken or my sister has taken.

Welcome aboard, between your area and N. Georgia waters you will have plenty to do. Also you are just a short hop to the Atlanta Fly Fishing show February 2nd & 3rd, 2018, a huge show for sure! We are voting now to get some of our TN/NC anglers into the "Legends of the Fly" Hall of Fame that is happening that weekend at the show. Of course some of us are a little biased but would love to see our own LRO owner Byron Begley, and of course Walter Babb & Ray Ball inducted, vote your own choice and again welcome!
