Hit a very secluded, lesser known stream today for the first time. Needless to say, it far exceeded my expectations. A healthy mix of wild and stocked rainbows, dinosaur brookies and slabs of butter made for a day I will not soon forget. This stream is definitely a new favorite. The new Syndicate 10í 3 weight got in a good workout today, and Iím very impressed with its ability to control big fish while protecting light tippet. Without further ado, Iíll keep it short and sweet with some pics of the action.

A prehistoric bull, I mean brook trout

Another angle....

The fish of of the day, and without a doubt one of the most prolific, beautiful sticks of butter I have ever seen. It certainly rivals even some of the bigger browns I have caught in the Park in terms of its coloration. An awesome kyped up, 18Ē brown....

That face and those fins....

Iím thankful for a good day spent with even better company. I hope everyone can get out and get bent this weekend! Tight lines.
