Fished low on The Clinch today.
Did fairly well considering how boney the water was.
They weren’t on the split-case like I thought they’d be.
Ended up catching all my fish on a zebra.
Anyway, somebody correct me, but I saw a Trico hatch.
Tiny tiny mayflies flying in elliptical arches.
Nothing rising to ‘em.
I’ve fished trico hatches many times in ID and am familiar with the bug btw.
I’ve also seen and caught fish on BWO’s on the Holston too.
Dang I wish we had a steady supply of these bugs on both rivers!
