Help Needed with new location

Guys & Gals I'm giving some thought to changing my venue for this coming summer/fall and fishing in the Pueblo Co. area.... I'm trying to find someone who has fished this area and can give me some input.... if you know of some streams names it would help tremendously ...haven't' fished Colorado since 2014 and the Pueblo are would be new for me...
If you can help it would certainly be appreciated....

The Arkansas River is the obvious option there. It is a freestone stream so will be blown out early in the year. By late summer into the fall, however, it would be excellent. Depending on how late in the fall, the tailwater section in Pueblo is excellent as well. That section will typically feature high water in the summer as they move water downstream for irrigation purposes. Heading on to the northwest, the South Platte is another good stream and a must fish if you ask me. There are lots of great sections on the South Platte. I've mostly spent my time in Elevenmile Canyon, the Dream Stream, and upstream from there. In the fall, there will be some excellent BWO hatches on both the Arkansas and the South Platte. If you're looking for smaller streams, I can't help as much in that immediate vicinity.
