Mike Adams Saturday February 7th 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Mike is a fly fishing guide from Bluff City, Tennessee. He has over 40 years of fly fishing experience. His fly tying ability is awesome and he explains how each fly is tied as well as fished. Tim is a professional fly tyer and exhibitor from Gainsville, Georgia. He has tied at many events including FFF Conclaves and at our original Fly Tyers Weekend here at the shop. His patterns are unique and beautiful. You can see some of his patterns online here.

Brian Courtney Saturday February 14th 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Brian is an excellent fly fisherman who chooses to fish for trout first and warmwater species as well. He has been a fly tying instructor here at the shop for several years. He teaches beginner, intermediate and advanced fly tying. He is a pastor living in Philadelphia, Tennessee and a long time member of the Little River Outfitters family.

Rex Wilson - Saturday February 14th 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Rex lives in Canton, North Carolina. He has fly fished in the Smokies all his life and learned to tie flies from some of North Carolina's finest tyers. His skills at tying Smokies patterns are well known throughout the region. Rex ties at FFF Conclaves as well as other venues including here at LRO.

Wendy Williams - Saturday February 21st 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Wendy is a nurse from Dayton, Tennessee. She has been demonstrating fly tying with her friends, the Boyds who are also tying on this date. The group are known as "The Dubbing Teasers". They do fly tying demonstrations at FFF Conclaves and the Shallow Water Expo in Atlanta. They have been regulars here at the shop for years. You will enjoy Wendy's skills and sense of humor. Bill Boyd Sr. - Saturday February 21st 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Bill Boyd is the Senior member of the Dubbing Teasers. He has been fly fishing and fly tying since he was a kid. He likes to take a scientific approach to fly tying. He loves all the gadgets and tools that go with the craft. He lives in Dayton, Tennessee, he is a pastor and orchestra director. He is a very talented man with a good sense of humor and a Phd. Bill Jr. is yet another member of the Dubbing Teasers. These folks know how to put on a show. Bill is a very good fly tyer with many patterns of his own. Roger Lowe Sunday February 22nd 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Roger is a well known fly fishing guide, fly designer and author from Waynesvillle, North Carolina. He is a third generation fly fisherman in the Smokies. He knowledge of fly fishing which is both learned and passed down is vast. His skills at the bench or on the water are legendary. He is also a very nice guy. John Thurman Saturday February 28th 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

John is our last fly tying exhibitor for the winter session. He is a great fly tyer and angler. He learned to fly fish at a very young age on the Spring Creeks of Wisconsin. He is also an avid bird hunter. His flies are unique and according to him easy and fast to tie. He would rather be fishing than tying. He has also recently taken up the sport of fishing for redfish in Louisiana. He lives in Norris, Tennessee. You will enjoy John. Oh Yea, he is an aquatic biologist too. This will be a good day.
