If you go today, fish in the lower elevations where the water is warmer. You might want to start early with nymphs and possibly switch to dry flies and emergers later.
Fishing for stocked trout in the low elevation rivers is good. As water temperatures rise, fishing will improve.
If you plan to wade fish or boat on a tailwater today, there are a ton of opportunities. TVA and the Corps are pausing the generation at many dams today. Check the predicted flows for your favorite tailwater on the TVA website and plan your fishing day.
